What we work on.

Each modality below can stand alone or combine with others in a session. Your treatment plan is built after the first visit and adjusted as you progress.

Deep tissue & myofascial

Targeted work on the muscle and fascia layers behind chronic tension and limited range of motion.

Deep tissue and myofascial work address the deeper layers of muscle and the connective tissue that wraps around them. We use sustained pressure and slow strokes to find restrictions and release them, rather than working at a single fixed depth across the whole body.

Best for clients carrying chronic tension, recovering from old injuries, or feeling limited in their everyday range of motion.

Sports massage

Pre- and post-event work for athletes, plus rehab for overuse and old injuries.

Sports massage is timing-sensitive bodywork — faster and more invigorating before an event, slower and more flushing after. Between events, we work on the patterns that keep recurring: the calf that won’t release, the shoulder that locks up at mile six, the back that always wins on day two.

Pregnancy massage

Safe, comfortable bodywork through every trimester, plus postpartum recovery.

Side-lying positioning, bolsters, and modified techniques keep the session safe and comfortable through every trimester. Postpartum, we focus on the patterns that come with feeding, holding, and carrying.

TMJ treatment

Inside- and outside-the-mouth work for jaw pain, clenching, and headaches.

TMJ dysfunction often shows up as headaches, ear fullness, or that “locked” feeling when you open wide. Treatment combines intraoral (gloved, inside-the-mouth) work with the surrounding muscles of the jaw, neck, and skull.

Cupping

Decompression therapy added into sessions as needed for stuck fascia.

Where most massage compresses tissue, cupping decompresses it — lifting the skin and superficial fascia to improve circulation and release adhesions. Used as a complement within a treatment plan, not a standalone service.

Thai-style

Assisted stretching and pressure work, in loose clothing on a mat.

Thai-style work is done in loose clothing, on a mat, using compressions and assisted stretches rather than oil-based gliding strokes. Feels more like a guided stretch session than a traditional massage.

Myofascial release

Slow, sustained work on the fascia to unwind long-standing restrictions.

Myofascial release uses slow, sustained pressure (often without oil) to engage the fascia and wait for it to release. The pace is slower than most massage; the changes are often deeper and longer-lasting.
